For the Dough

  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup whole milk, warmed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

For the Egg Wash

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon milk
