Ingredients:
- One kilogramme of ground beef
- one-half cup of breadcrumbs
- a single huge egg
- 14 ounces of milk
- one small onion
- cut very finely two cloves of garlic, minced or chopped
- a single teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- One milligramme of salt
- Black pepper, one-half of a teaspoon
- Olive oil, two teaspoons’ worth
- 4 potatoes of medium size, cut very thinly
- One tablespoon of cornflour
- one cup of beef broth
- Tomato paste, one whole tablespoon
- 1 teaspoon of thyme when dried
- one-half cup of frozen peas
- Parsley, fresh and chopped (for use as a garnish)
