HOMEMADE SUPREME CRUNCHWRAP

Step 1: Cook the Chicken

  1. Heat a medium skillet over high heat and add a splash of oil.
  2. Add the chicken strips to the skillet and cook for a few minutes until they turn golden brown and are cooked through. Set the chicken aside.

Step 2: Prepare the Avocado Mash

  1. In a medium bowl, mash the avocados, leaving them slightly chunky.
  2. Add the garlic powder, lemon or lime juice, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and set aside.

Step 3: Assemble the Crunchwrap

  1. Lay a large tortilla on a flat surface.
  2. Layer the following ingredients in the center of the tortilla: cooked chicken, barbecue sauce, cheese (if using), tortilla chips or tostadas, onion, tomato, lettuce, jalapeños, and mashed avocado.
  3. Place a small cutout tortilla or mini tortilla on top of the layered ingredients.
  4. Fold the edges of the large tortilla over the center, creating pleats as you go to fully enclose the filling.

Step 4: Cook the Crunchwrap

  1. Heat a nonstick pan over low-medium heat and add a bit of oil.
  2. Place the assembled wrap in the pan, seam-side down.
  3. Cook for a few minutes on each side until the tortilla is firm, crunchy, and golden brown.
  4. Remove from the pan, cut into halves or quarters, and serve immediately.
