Old Fashioned Pancakes

  1. Heat a griddle or large skillet over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancakes and the edges start to look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip the pancakes and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove the pancakes from the griddle and keep them warm by covering with a clean kitchen towel or placing them in a warm oven until all the batter is cooked.
