Stuffed Italian Meatloaf

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground sausage, garlic powder, dried oregano, and eggs. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Add the tomato sauce, breadcrumbs, and torn bread to the meat mixture. Mix again until everything is combined.

Pour the milk into the mixture and stir until it is fully incorporated.

Take half of the meat mixture and press it into the bottom of a greased 9×5 inch loaf pan.

Layer the sliced mozzarella cheese on top of the meat mixture.

Spoon the remaining meat mixture on top of the cheese and press down gently to make sure it is even.

Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.

Remove the meatloaf from the oven and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese on top.

Return the meatloaf to the oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.

Let the meatloaf cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
